I was at the Anaheim location and found that I felt safe at all times. The services they supported was a great help to all residents.
I am now once again in need to return to this location due to being homeless.

This program saved my life, I was in immediate need of housing, I have a job but no way could I have afforded to move into a house on my own. Not only were they quick to help but they made it possible for me to get back on my feet. This is a program that truly helps people.

Love these people. They often have helped me... Sometimes with something small, but it helped me always... I also like talking with people there. I also received help at the old office, which was located on Holt Blvd, just east from Allen. Helped me for a good year, Needed to send my 1st Granddaughter to her elementary in Upland, but Her and I lived on the Claremont, North Pomona boundaries. She was so smart always, they had very high, overall test scores, big boost was her high achievement's she made each year. Ya, nice to have folks who are there for others.

What is it Angelica's business if I'm arguing with my bf of 3 years and why is she always defending or on the side of men. Really it was like having my teenage kid try and meddle in one of our arguments of course always siding with guys if not there's so much more i can say but not on this platform

This is a one star rating for a 2.5 shelter facility.

Mercy house needs a staff that is more emotionally and intellectually equipped to help clients here.
A minimum degree in the field line of social work psychology and nothing else plus some experience.

And need to be more diverse - the staff is near fully hispanic.

This facility was funded by the city 8 Billion.
Improvements need to be made on Food. (There needs to be real juice, Vitamin C available) overall staff office skills and professionalism with clients, preparedness for any difficulties at all with people who have experienced need over a long period of time.
There also have got to be a list of actions or accidents that subject to immediate exits like any initiation of Violence or assaults.

Lastly, Janyss is wonderful but additional staff members (3-4 non hispanic, USC/UCLA educated) and regular inspections by the city outside of mercy house would (be better.) *

My name is private I'm very upset with mercy house over termination of services I had surgery and they put me in a motel room I was very happy now my surgeon said not to lift heavy items limit my movement I left hospital went mercy house they were kind they terminated my services for having a friend help me they went to motel removes my help and I tell them I need his assistance they said when I came to mercy house I was in n out of my truck walking around with no problem I was still under the effects of the anesthesia and norcos I mean Seriously then I was accused of selling drugs as well drug dealer I am not mercy house told me I cannot return due to there decision I have now recently went to san Antonio hospital diagnosed with congestive heart failure liquid in my lungs mild heart attack of not enough help for me it was cold no food no warm blanket why would they do this to me I mean I helped out the same Individuals they do I have a good heart and soul they help who they want I wear a life vest that monitors my heart and breathing I get shocked by this vest that monitors my heart please can anyone tell me where I can go to get a motel voucher they will not give me one cause of help I needed I need then now and they won't help me I will sue them for discrimination I did nothing wrong

But whats needed is not given like vouchers they claim to offer also an employee knows of more resources but failed to provide it i heard her myself and questioned her she claims not to know it has to do with dentists for dentures seeing my car got stoolen from my boyfriend and ontario poluce department did nothing after showing his emails & threats so my dentures were taken and medical dont cover them
