Extremely unprofessional and poorly ran company. Applied for a sales position and moved through interviews and was scheduled an in person interview in center city philadelphia. less than an hour away from the interview i have received no confirmation and no response from anyone at the company. called the company and whoever answers the phone was extremely unfriendly. was told their entire hiring process changed and the person who I had been interviewing with was fired less than an hour before my scheduled interview. no notice, no heads up, I would have had to drive an hour into the city just to waste my own time had i not called. do not apply for any jobs here

Don’t work with this company they say they have after hours but they don’t they don’t pick up been calling like crazy had to pay $410 lumber fee I just hope they pay me back I would never with them ever again

Overall impression about PLS office in Philadelphia is that it’s a bunch of arrogant, incompetent young guys who have zero respect for truck dispatchers and drivers. They never admit their mistakes, they rarely pick up the phone, talking to you as if they’re being bothered.

Holeshot Haulers

We have hauled a shipment for PLS from CT to MO and sent them invoice on 02/15/23. First of all they didn't issue our payment via QP terms as we have agreed, and after some time when they had, they sent a check to a factoring company we are not working with for more than a year now. Thunder Funding had hard time reaching them out because Denisse never checks her emails and never responds. After months of trying to get in contact with Thunder, we CC-ed them in order to fasten the process. Thunder finally got their ACH information, transferred the refund but PLS is still lagging to pay us. I was told over the phone that their manager has to check the account to verify, so basically they need a whole week to check whether they have received a payment or not. Today is 05/11 and we still haven not received our payment. I am going to file a claim on your bond first thing on Monday morning.

They don't appear to be scammers but they are absolutely TERRIBLE to work with. SKIP IT!

Horrible experience, booked a load on 10/30 to pick 31st, told them ETA was around 14:00 they told me as long as we are there before 15:00 we are good. Followed up next morning to confirm that we are all good to go, just so they would tell me they need somebody there before 13:00 and they need to cancel my truck. Even tho they were fully aware of my ETA and booked me on it in advance a day before PU. No TONU, plus rude on top of everything. Johnny UKI LLC MC# 035479

Good morning to whom it may concern pls is a unprofessional company i am in business for more that 11 year and every i call them for a load they ask for my MC# i gave them the number they come back hong up the phone sometimes they say can't use you and hong up the phone don't even tell me why or explain like any other broker would do . My MC# is good it clean i run with everyone so what is the problem with me with pls i would like know they so rude just hong up on me.

Truck drivers beware. There is a reason there are so many negative reviews.

Problem #1: They have very low rates. A load that starts at $1200 first thing in the morning will be $1600 by the end of the day. They always have a lot of wiggle room in their rate. Other logistics companies I work with put high rates on the board, which is why their loads are snapped up within seconds of going on the broker board.

Problem #2: They will not answer the phone. You can call just minutes after a load gets posted and they still won't answer the phone. You can try calling them 50 times, waiting a few minutes between attempts, and they still won't answer the phone. If they don't answer the phone when they are trying to get a load booked, they sure are not going to answer if you have a problem with a load once you take it.

Problem #3: If you are female, you will be discriminated against. What was most shocking was that it came from another female named Heather. I looked this person up on google and found that she is young, only a few years out of college and probably leans to the left. Hence her discrimination against truck drivers and especially women. It might shock her to know that I own my own truck. Many women own their own trucks. I also have a military security clearance and have traveled to 45 countries in my lifetime. But she has her opinions about who and what truck drivers are so there you have it. She is too young and should not be in the position she holds.

Problem #4: The owner of this company will see this review and he will post a response on google telling me that he is sorry for my experience and asking that I reach out to their management team to assist. However, you will notice on the reviews that not one person has edited their review to indicated their problem was resolved. This many negative reviews is not a coincidence.
