The Windsor Train Station has free WIFI available at the station and on the train.They also have vending machines on site,and a currency exchange booth which opens at 8:30 am most days till 5pm.Just a short walking distance is a Tim Hortons.

The Windsor Via Rail station itself is small and cozy with friendly customer service personnel. It has a snack bar, currency exchange, a brochure stand, washroom and plenty of seats in the waiting area which was well lit and clean.

The boarding of the train was well organized with Business class passengers first and then those boarding in the most rear cars to allow them time to board.

The train cars were clean, smelled like airplane interior (which I like..gives me a sensation of holidays) with lot of legroom even in coach class.

There are seats facing forward as well as facing each other (for a party of 4). I took the afternoon train to TO and was not crowded. It has free wifi for the passengers. See

They do bring snack and coffee cart for you to buy (only cards no cash). Coffee was hot but Ok taste.

The washroom was clean.

I travelled in Oct and the leaves were half way through changing colors. I had a window seat and the scenery outside was beautiful. For a long time it was waterfront and then foliage.

I enjoyed the trip and did not have to worry about the traffic coming into TO via 401.

I would definitely take another trip.

This little train station was the start of a wonderful trip to Toronto. The station had ample parking with the first half hour free, but with reasonable rates for longer stays, which included a day fee. The station was clean and well kept. There are vending machines, but no food vendors. There was also a money-changing station for those who needed to convert their U.S. currency to Canadian. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Via Rail staff Mike is one of the meanest, least considerate, and terrible staff members I've ever encountered on Via Rail.

All other staff I've dealt with has been great, he is terribly rude and didn't listen to a single polite request I had.

I will never travel via rail simply because of him.

Cheesy but if I could give 0 I would. Today my husband and I have the first train of the day and had to be there before the station officially opened and the only seat was blocked by some stupid tape now its 3am in the middle of December we are freezing, so we sit behind the tape whoopdee doo no where near the tracks we're there maybe about a 25 mins ish and boom some guy saying you can't sit there you're gonna have to go sit in front wheres there's no seats and no overhang to keep us dry from the rain. Via rail do better please.

The train station is clean and large enough for the size of the city. There’s free wifi. Bring your own food and drinks for the train as Via Rail is expensive on board. There’s a Tim Hortons across the street. A Discount rental car kiosk is in the station if you need it.

Clean terminal! They need to put food stalls here for the people who are waiting for their trains cause they only have vending machines which contains some chocolates, granola bar, chips and some drinks! This place is also not crowded. Really quiet.
