Very close to my hotel. 800 yen for 15kg wash for 30mins and 100 yen 11kg dry for 10 mins. No detergent required. And I can use IC or credit card to pay. Very easy to operate. The only complaint is no chair. But I guess standing a bit is okay. And they can text you when it is done but you have to have a Japanese number to do so. I guess just using your phone timer would do the trick.

Pay at the machine. Accept 1000¥, credit cards and other types of payment. Automatic soap and softener, no need to buy soap and softener. Very convenience.

Stopped by to wash some clothes today after trying a few others in the area. This place is good, interesting how the machine works, and may be confusing to some who aren't familiar, so I'll lay it out as I definitely needed the clarification:

1. Put your clothes into the machine, note the number so you're not running back and forth to get it, as the machine can time out.

2. Go to the machine and decide if you want to get a prepaid card or pay with card or cash. I'll assume most pay with coins/bills.

3. Select the washer that your clothes are in and choose the wash/dry or wash or dry function. There's a 3rd screen that I wasn't clear on but you can choose the option that looks the same as what the machine states.

4. It can take up to an hour to finish, so feel free to go anywhere and come back when it's done.

Easy to use, detergent is included, I paid cash but seems to take credit cards too.
Many sizes available. Came in at about 0930, most machines were available. 2 folding tables available, but no chairs for you to sit and wait. The machines have a wash+dry mode, so you don't need to transfer your clothes. It worked really well, it started it, walked around for 40 mins, got pastries at Cawaii bread and coffee, and at the end my clothes came out clean and dry.

I believe there was about 5 washers and dryers (combo) and one large dryer. Two of the small ones were out of service. No detergent needed for it comes with the wash. Quite expensive but it's convenient since you don't have to be there when it washes it automatically goes to dry using same machine. It didn't dry well so we had to dry it another 15 minutes using the big dryer. Also depending on where you're coming from, if from Tokyo station, you will have an overpass to cross with stairs so you'll have to take that into account. It's in a small neighborhood and very clean Laundromat. The only problem is there is AC but it's not sufficient. It was very hot that night and folding table was small and no chairs so we had to go hangout at 7-11 nearby.

Stayed at a hotel nearby with limited laundry service (which you have to pay a lot of money). Found this laundry service close by, 1000 yen for 50mins washing and drying or you can pay 1200 yen for 60mins wash and dry. Please note if paying by cash, you need exact money. Card payment available also. Free WiFi. Air con here. Negative - no chairs to sit and wait, suggest you go out for a drink or walk.
